About Maggie
I graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1986 and have worked in health care ever since. I have always had an interest in complementary therapies and the close relationship between mind and body. It seemed to me that western/modern medicine did not have all the answers.
I qualified as a reflexologist in 2006 after completing my training at the Oxford School of Reflexology and began to use this therapy alongside conventional physiotherapy in my practice.
Over time I have become more passionate about reflexology and its benefits particularly in situations where conventional medicine has little to offer. I now only use reflexology in my Wokingham practice and I urge you to give it a try!
Currently I have my own private practice in central Wokingham. I also work part time for Sue Ryder as a self-employed reflexologist at Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading and Macmillan House in Wokingham. In this role I have expertise in treating people with life limiting illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, COPD and Parkinson’s disease. I also work closely with family members of these patients helping them to manage the anxieties, stress and exhaustion of caring for their sick relatives.
